Boldly patterned, make a statement in our vintage Levis jackets. Each unique piece is embellished with up-cycled textiles, traditional fabrics, beading or custom pins. Not only will you look great but you'll be supporting the women in Ban Phinneau, Laos who create them.
Hailing from Laos and now living in Los Angeles, Coffey is the designer behind Coconut Village. A line of clothing and accessories that mixes vibrant textiles from Southeast Asia with a laid-back California twist. Crafted from vintage up-cycled fabric and beads, each Coconut Village product is a labor of love for Coffey and her family.
While growing up, Coffey would watch her mother “Choumaly” hand bead beautiful traditional Lao “Sinh” skirts and scarves. Beading is a family tradition passed on with each generation, and it was something she wanted to share with her village. In 2017, Coffey decided to open the first CV beading workshop in Laos. Her goal was to empower the women by teaching them a trade that could provide additional income to their families.
